HOUSE LEAGUE

The House League Committee (HLC) receives all Assistant Director(formerly known as Convenor) applications for review and subsequently appoints an Assistant Director for appropriate divisions.

All Assistant Directors must have, at a minimum, a current Vulnerable Sector Screening Police Clearance (VSSPC) and Speak Out certification.

Main Responsibilities

• Responsible for the administering of the Consitution & By-Laws of BLOMHA
• Review game and practice schedules for equity
• Liaison between coaches, division director and/or board of directors
• Arena visits on a regular basis to monitor coaches 
• Collect player evaluations and financial statements from team coaches
• Ensure equipment checklists and goalie policies are submitted to the office

BLOMHA periodically holds clinics at the office for the Speak Out certification. If there are no clinics listed visit the ALLIANCE Hockey website for dates and times of clinics in our surrounding area.

HOW TO APPLY

Applications for the 2010-2011 season will be available at the BLOMHA office or for download under Applications & Forms. Applications must be submitted to the office in person, preferably before June 30, 2010.
