HOUSE LEAGUE AND REP HOCKEY
The primary responsibility of all our volunteers is ensuring the safety of the players, however, the Trainer especially must understand and practice effective risk management in order to prevent or minimize the risk of injuries. Every game or practice may present different situations and the Trainer must be prepared to react appropriately.
All Trainers must have, at a minimum, a current Vulnerable Sector Screening Police Clearance (VSSPC) and Speak Out certification and an up-to-date Level Trainer certification. If your Trainer certification number begins with ‘09’ it expires in August 2009 and you must re-certify before the season begins.
