JUNIOR BULLDOGS DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM

For players who are interested in developing their skills in preparation for BLOMHA's Rep program next year or the coming years.

Participants must be registered with BLOMHA and have basic skating skills. This is not a learn to skate program.

This will be an advanced skill development program for 5, 6 and 7 year olds. Participants must show a very keen interest and desire to play a higher level of competitive hockey.

Sessions will be held on Tuesday evenings from 5:00pm to 6:00pm from early October to March 9/10.

Maximim number of players on the ice will be thirty.

Program fee: $329.00.  This includes a Bulldogs jersey and socks.

FUN PLUS SKILLS PROGRAM

This program is a great warm-up to the hockey season! Register early, space is limited to 30 participants per session. Forms will be available April 12, 2010.

Group A • 4, 5 & 6 year olds • 9:00 am - 10:00 am
                   
Group B • 7, 8 & 9 year olds • 10.00 am - 11:00 am
                   
Group C • 7,8 & 9 year olds • 11:00 am - 12:00 pm

The main objective with these age groups is to develop and improve forward and backward strides, acceleration, balance, stops and turning. As the sessions progress, drills will combine skating skills with puck control, passing and shooting. Some sessions will conclude with controlled, fun games using skills taught during the sessions.

Each five-day session is $130. The fee includes pizza on the last day of each week for the participants.

All participants must come in full equipment including a jersey and socks. No equipment is supplied.

Registration forms can be mailed to or brought to the BLOMHA office, along with cash or a cheque made payable to BLOMHA. If registration is received prior to July 1, two cheques of $65 will be accepted: dated July 15, 2010 and July 29, 2010.

You will only be notified if your child is NOT accepted due to space limitations. No receipts for registration will be issued. This program does not qualify for The Child's Tax Credit from the Government.

A $30 administration fee will be charged for cancellations prior to August 2, 2010. NO refunds will be issued for cancellations made after August 2, 2010.

THE COMPLETE PLAYER PROGRAM

Availability for 2010 -2011 to be determined

The Complete Player Program is for children aged 9 to 12 who would benefit from an extra hour of ice time each week to improve their skating ability and work on some fundamental hockey skills. Participants will receive an instructional hour of power skating combined with drills to teach puck handling, passing, receiving and shooting skills.

There is a maximum of 25 players and three goalies per session.
