This is a developmental program for children aged four and five. The program is run solely by BLOMHA and is not affiliated with ALLIANCE Hockey or Hockey Canada; however, our House League policies governing the program make it a fun, safe and valuable learning experience for children being initiated into hockey. The emphasis is on fun, so no matter what skill level a child is at they will not feel out of place.

Two teams share the ice at practices and games. Please note the games are not official league games; there are no referees, game sheets and no scores are posted on the scoreboard. The games do not commence until the beginning of December.

Registration

• All NEW PLAYERS to the 4/5 program may register at the office any time starting April 12th or by completing a registration forms that will also be available online.         
• Returning players are emailed a registration form and they are also available online April 12th.
• Spots will be filled on a first come first served basis until the program is filled.
  Forms may be dropped off in person at the BLOMHA office or mailed in.
  
  Registration fees may be paid with cash or by cheque. Payment is accepted in full or in two instalments. The first payment can be post dated to June 1st and the second payment post-dated for September 15th.

Tim Hortons Sponsorship

Tim Hortons sponsors all of our Development Program teams and our House League Tyke division. Through the Timbit Minor Sports Program, the teams are supplied with Timbits Minor Hockey Sports jerseys and are given the opportunity to play on-ice scrimmages during intermissions at the AHL Hamilton Bulldogs games at Copps Coliseum. Timbit players and their families are also invited annually to participate in the Timbit Jamboree. The Jamboree is a fun-filled event where each player receives a participation medal, gets to skate on the same ice surface as the Hamilton Bulldogs and takes part in various fun zone activities. Drinks, and of course Timbits are supplied courtesy of our Burlington Tim Hortons franchisees. All players also receive a complimentary ticket to the Hamilton Bulldogs game following the Jamboree.
